Max needs a home in BIRNAM, Queensland for sale

Max is a cross. Mother cattle dog lab cross, Father pure border colly. Max is 14 weeks of age and already plays ball, sits and comes when called. He walks next to me and is light on a led. He follows me when I'm outside and stays close when inside, often sitting on my feet when I am not moving. He demonstrates intelligence and would make a good cattle or sheep dog as he tries to round up the ducks when he has an opportunity to.
Max has to leave us, and it is with great distress this decision has been made, as he has been chasing our birds and no amount of chastisement seems to deter him from this.
Today, when Max was unsupervised for a short time, he killed our pet guinea fowl, Stumpy. We have chickens, turkeys, ducks and other birds who regularly free range so it appears Max is not going to fit in.
